Hello Cowboys K-1 Spring Flag Families,

We are excited to get another fun season of spring flag football started soon.

We have 36 kids signed-up in the Kindergarten-Grade 1 division. Since we play 5 vs. 5 we are aiming to place 9 players on each team and run 4 total teams. This will allow for max playing time for all players. If we get additional sign-ups we will add additional teams and make the teams smaller.

What each player needs:
- mouthpiece (mandatory)
- molded cleats – any cleats will do provided they are not metal
- Athletic supporter/cups- recommended
- shorts or athletic pants

- Game T-shirts are provided

Some important upcoming dates:

Friday, April 14th- Skills Assessment Night
Time: 6pm to 7:30pm
Place: Lake Park

This is a very important night for all players to attend. We will assess all players in order to make fair teams. Players will go through some basic running, passing, and catching football drills in a fun and non-threatening circuit rotation.

First practices:

We will practice on Tuesday nights starting the week after April Vacation.

The first official practice with your team will be on Tuesday, April 25th.

All practices will be at Lake Park on Tuesdays from 6pm to 7:30pm.

Games:

We will play for 7 total weeks with built-in playoffs.

With the exception of Week 1 all games are on Saturdays with a 9:00 am start time each week. Games run for approximately 60 minutes. Players are expected to be there at least 30 minutes prior to the start of each game. You should plan for an 8:30am arrival with the game completing at 10:00am each week. See the events are of the Team App for all game times.

All 7 Game Dates:
May 6th (only game that will be a 2pm start time), May 13th, May 20th, June 3rd, June 10th, June 17th, and June 24th.

**All 7 games will be played on the Worcester State University turf Football field.

**There is no Spring Flag Football on May 27th- Memorial Day Weekend
